I started writing this newsletter 2+ years ago.
Over this time, many of you have joined me on the journey of building educational AI content.
And together, we grew it into something extraordinary — Lighthouse AI Academy.

So far, I have been fortunate to bring together many great people: Students, mentors, as well as team members. 

It has grown from only myself to a group of passionate experts delivering courses, creating content, and empowering everyone in our growing community. 

I would like to introduce you to Adam. He will be taking over communication for Lighthouse Academy. Today is the first newsletter (of many) that he has prepared for you all.

Taking the Torch: Hi, I’m Adam!

Dear Lighthouse Friends,

My name is Adam, and I’m from sunny South Africa. When I’m not writing and reading, you can catch me doing fun but crazy things like running ultra-marathons and trying to avoid getting punched in the face in the boxing ring.

I’m not only honored to be writing to you all from here on out, but also to be a part of something much greater than myself — Lighthouse AI Academy.

As an artist, I believe there is nothing more important than curiosity: To make something from nothing, we have to thirst for understanding EVERYTHING.

That’s what drives me as a writer, and it’s what has led me to Lighthouse AI Academy. While some creatives remain stubborn, refusing to use or acknowledge AI, I believe the best (and the wisest) of us will stay ahead of the curve and learn to use these incredibly powerful and exciting new tools to our advantage.

Never to replace, but to enhance.

I know Nejc has served you all with his usual high standards of kindness, imparting knowledge with expertise and holding you in safe hands as he lights the way forward into a brave new world.

I hope to carry on where he left off, giving him time and space to do the heavy lifting for Lighthouse AI Academy in order to serve you, our good friends, in the best way possible.

We are still in the middle of our current cohorts, and what’s coming out of it is truly something special. 💛

What we’re building with our students is far greater than “projects,” because they are real experiments in craft, vision, and process.
